The purpose of this workshop is to produce a change, a growth, a balance in the child's development, to ensure freedom of expression and manifestation of desires, needs,uihis needs, opinions and attitudes.

About Architecture for Children
We use an education model based on creativity, applied to real challenges
Children, from kindergarten to high school, through games, explorations, observations and analyses, must learn to look around, to understand the mechanisms of the city, to appreciate what is done with care and skill and to see what could be improved, in order to further demand these things from those who represent them.
It is a long, yet complex process, and that is precisely why it is important to start from a young age, so that the information can settle and become a shared baggage, capable of generating a new perspective.
About Architecture for Children
Develops memory, language, attention, thinking
Creating the right spaces for him means providing close support during the stages and progress of his psychomotor development, until his settlement, his exploration and his engagement in the world.
Through guided play and discovery learning, through fun projects, children learn about the relationship between the city and people, between the city and the environment, about beauty, geometry, engineering and architecture, culminating in the opportunity to create models using tools and tricks that architects use.
We encourage them to ask questions and find answers about their surroundings, thus starting to think about the built environment and the opportunities it offers.

Who Are Our Workshops For?
Architecture for Kids is designed for children from the age of 3 through middle and high school.
Our mission is to inspire a generation of educated, engaged and creative citizens who can imagine and design urban spaces that are more beautiful, welcoming and sustainable.
Each of our workshops is personally designed by lead architect Ioana Tutunaru.
Each module/session focuses on a specific theme, with clearly defined learning objectives and hands-on activities.
Professionalism & Experience
Meet the Trainer
Ioana Tutunaru
is a successful architect and artist with experience across several areas of architecture.
Born in, Romania, she grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel, and also spent several years in Toronto, Canada. She has now returned home to Bucharest to share the experience and knowledge she has gained throughout her international journey.
Her artistic journey began during her school and high-school years, when she studied fine arts.
She eventually became an architect, developing her expertise in building design and the restoration of historic monuments in Bucharest.
In 2020, she founded ARCHITECTURE FOR KIDS, creating a program designed to introduce children to the fascinating world of architecture, design and creative thinking.
A passionate advocate of design, creativity and education, Ioana combines her love of architecture with her love for children, inspiring and empowering them to explore their ideas and turn their imagination into something tangible.
